ENT and Allergy Associates, LLP in Riverhead, NY seeks a full-time Medical Assistant to support clinicians with examinations, procedures, and patient education. You will welcome patients, verify information, document tests, and help with in-office lab work, maintaining HIPAA compliance.

The ideal candidate will have CMA/RMA or MA certification, a biology degree or EMT credential, and experience with Epic EMR in a fast-paced setting. Schedule includes weekdays and one weekend shift per month.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Medical Assistant program or CMA/RMA certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Biology is acceptable.
• EMT certification also qualifies.
• Five years of MA experience is considered for candidates.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients in person or by phone and route inquiries.
• Prepare patients for appointments and escort to exam rooms.
• Verify and record patient information and medical history.
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures.
• Prepare lab specimens and perform basic in-office testing.
