Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare’s Concord residential program is seeking Medical Assistants to support medical and nursing teams in a structured, recovery-focused environment. You will perform routine clinical tasks, monitor client health, collect specimens, document information, and assist with medication processes in a residential substance use treatment setting.

We welcome applicants with a high school diploma, and prefer prior Medical Assistant experience plus CPR/First Aid credentials.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• Healthcare or behavioral health setting experience a plus.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and document vital signs, blood pressure, and other routine health information.
• Collect urine and other specimens and complete required toxicology screening.
• Document and communicate changes in client health status to nursing/clinical leadership.
• Support medication-related processes and observe dispensing by pharmacy staff.
• Assist with MAT services and client monitoring.
• Complete admission-related medical documentation and maintain records.
• Monitor supplies and communicate inventory needs.
• Assist clients with routine medical needs and health-related education.
