Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare’s Dallas inpatient rehab center seeks a Medical Assistant to support MAT services, monitor clients, collect specimens, and coordinate medical information in a dynamic treatment setting.

The role requires a MA certification with at least some residential or addiction-treatment experience; CPR/First Aid is preferred. Competitive hourly pay, day/evening shifts, and opportunities for professional growth are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Medical Assistant degree or certification preferred.
• Experience as a Medical Assistant in a drug/alcohol or residential setting is preferred.
• CPR, AED and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support MAT services through client monitoring and medical support activities.
• Obtain and document vital signs, capillary blood sugars, urine specimens and more.
• Report significant changes to clinical or nursing staff.
• Conduct toxicology screening and document results for the team.
• Assist with admissions documentation and medical records coordination.
• Maintain unit inventory and assist with supplies and ordering.
• Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure continuity of care.
