Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest is seeking a Medical Assistant for our Health Center in Corona, CA. The MA supports reproductive health care under clinician supervision, handling testing, screening, education, and front/back-office tasks to ensure efficient, empathetic care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program or CNA program.
• 2 years of comparable clinical back office medical assistant, long-term care, or health education experience. Women's health preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree.

Responsabilités

• Obtain medical history, interview and educate clients ensuring informed consent.
• Perform basic lab work and prepare specimens for outside lab tests.
• Greet clients, answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage front-office duties.
• Assist clinicians and support care delivery, including contraceptive and abortion services.
• Input and update client data in the Practice Management and EMR systems.
• Ensure safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance.

Formation

High School diploma or equivalent

Graduate of an accredited medical assistant program or CNA program

2 years clinical back office medical assistant experience or 2 years in health education/public health (women's health preferred)
