The Medical Assistant role at Cook Children's Health Care System functions under the clinical supervision of the Physician/APP in a pediatric primary care setting. The role assists in preparing and delivering patient care as directed by the provider and other licensed clinical personnel, with duties performed per established clinical policy and procedure.

Schedule is Monday-Friday; Standard Weekly Hours are 40, with shift noted as First Shift in the United States.

Formación

• High school diploma required.
• Graduate of an accredited MA school or current MA certification.
• National certification preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.

Summary:

This individual assists in the preparation and delivery of patient care as directed by the provider(s) and other licensed clinical personnel. Clinical duties are skillfully and consistently performed per established clinical policy and procedure.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 pm-5:00 pm

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma required.
• Required: Either a graduate of an accredited MA school OR a current MA certification.
  

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification

• National certification preferred.

• Current CPR certification required.
