Job summary

Work hours align with a full-time schedule, with a $2,000 sign-on bonus for eligible new hires and starting wages of $17.69/hour (non-certified) or $18.41/hour (certified through AAMA/AMT). The position emphasizes cooperation with staff, accurate charting, and adherence to policies to ensure quality patient

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and six months experience as a Medical Assistant or a Patient Care Tech.
• Completion of a medical assistant, EMT, nurse assistant, LPN, armed services medic, or patient care technician program.
• BLS certification within 6 months of hire for Rural Health clinics.
• For float positions, travel to or between clinics may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care by performing procedures, vital signs, injections and venipuncture.
• Assist with clerical duties to maintain efficient operations.
• Prepare rooms, stock supplies and organize forms for physicals.
• Collaborate with providers to collect history, prepare equipment, document interventions and manage meds.
