Parker University seeks a Medical Assistant Program Director to lead instructional and administrative aspects of the Medical Assistant program. The role includes curriculum oversight, accreditation alignment (CAAHEP/MAERB), faculty supervision, and student success initiatives.

The incumbent will manage budgets, coordinate clinical placements, and engage with employers and professional groups while representing the program in institutional events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Current MA certification (NHA CMA or RMA) required.
• Minimum 3 years as a medical assistant (clinical and admin).
• At least 1 year of postsecondary teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach at least 12 credit hours in Medical Assistant program.
• Design and assess curriculum to align with accreditation standards.
• Recruit, hire and supervise faculty and staff.
• Monitor student outcomes and placement success.
• Oversee program budget, equipment, and resources.
• Coordinate clinical/externship placements with healthcare partners.
• Engage with advisory board and community stakeholders.
