Job summary

Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science seeks an Assistant Professor/Academic Coordinator to oversee PA program curricula, including basic and behavioral sciences and clinical medicine components.

You will document curriculum delivery and collaborate with the Curriculum Committee to develop, revise, and evaluate content. Responsibilities include supervising didactic courses, selecting syllabi, maintaining evaluation files, training faculty on testing, and supporting accreditation

Qualifications

• Master's degree required (regionally accredited).
• Master’s level NCCPA-certified PA or CA licensure eligibility.
• Two or more years in higher education.
• At least two years of experience as a Physician Assistant in a clinical practice.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; proactive with supervisors and peers.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all didactic courses and curriculum delivery.
• Assist in syllabus and textbook selection.
• Maintain evaluation files of classroom teaching activity.
• Train faculty on maintenance of test results and reporting.
• Prepare documentation and reports for grants and accreditation.
