Shift Details: This is a PRN, on-call as needed position

Unit/Location: Lewistown, MT

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing Patient Care: Under the direction of the Clinician, assist in gathering information relevant to the patient’s visit and condition.
  • Effective Communication: Communicate clearly with patients through various modalities including telephone and in-person interactions.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to collaborate on patient care. Attention to detail and follow-through are key.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Successful completion of a Medical Assistant Program, or at least one year of Medical Assistant work experience, or current active and in good standing RN/LPN license to practice nursing in Montana.
  • Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers, obtained prior to start date.
  • Basic computer skills including word processing and data entry.
  • Professional manner with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with patients and caregivers to deliver high-quality care.
  • Ability to protect patient privacy and confidentiality, including Protected Health Information (PHI).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in outpatient clinics or healthcare settings.
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) and relevant software.
  • Current national MA certification (e.g., RMA, NCMA, CCMA, CMA).
Physical and Other Requirements:

Manual dexterity, ability to lift and transfer patients, navigate busy environments, and drive if required. Specific physical requirements are detailed in the full job description.

Location: Lewistown Clinic, Lewistown, Montana

Scheduled Weekly Hours: 0 (hourly rate: $19.20 - $27.35, dependent on experience)
