Oak Street Health in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Medical Assistant to support patient intake, vitals, screenings, and immunizations. You will work closely with the Practice Manager and care team to ensure accurate data capture and a smooth patient experience.

The role requires EMR experience, active CPR/BLS, and at least 1 year in a primary care MA role, with strong communication and computer skills. This is a full-time, on-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as a medical assistant in a primary care setting.
• Active CPR or BLS certification.
• Experience taking vitals, performing diagnostic testing, and administering immunizations.
• EMR experience and comfort with common care software.
• Ability to navigate multiple computer programs (Gmail, Word/Docs, Excel).
• US work authorization in good standing.

Responsabilités

• Schedule and room patients efficiently to support flow and accurate vitals.
• Answer patient requests and provide telephonic support for lab results and records.
• Assist with vaccinations and point-of-care tests (A1C, spirometry, EKG, phlebotomy).
• Maintain accurate EMR records and upload documents.
• Participate in daily care team meetings and coordinate with leadership on orders and inventory.
• Support quality control and infection control measures and assist with center operations.
