Avance Care in North Carolina seeks a Medical Assistant to join a busy primary care team. You will Escort patients, triage, administer vaccines, document data, assist physicians, and maintain exam rooms with a patient-centered approach.

Ideal candidates have CMA/CCMA/RMA/EMT certification and at least one year of MA experience. Full-time role with 12-hour shifts, rotating weekends, and benefits starting after 30 days.

Qualificações

• CMA/CCMA/RMA/EMT certification is preferred with at least one year of MA experience.
• Strong communication and patient-centered care are required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsabilidades

• Escort patients to and from exam/treatment rooms.
• Triage patients as necessary.
• Administer vaccines and injections.
• Record patient data prior to the physician’s visit.
• Assist physicians with exams and procedures.
• Administer medications.
• Prepare and stock exam rooms and order supplies.
• Maintain disinfection protocols.
• Complete prior authorizations for meds and imaging.
• Phone in prescriptions and distribute medications as ordered.
