Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Must have 1 year MA/CNA/PCA or related clinical care experience or completion of MA program.
• Preferred: CCMA, CMA, RMA, ARMA or EMT credentials.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms, take vital signs and document in chart.
• Document patient history and maintain accurate records.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Collect specimens and perform basic lab tests as directed.
• Prepare and administer medications as directed.
• Maintain equipment, logs, and cleanliness of exam rooms.
• Ensure HIPAA, OSHA and CLIA compliance in daily tasks.
