Luminis Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinicians and patients in a fast-paced office setting. You will handle administrative tasks, patient intake, and assist with examinations under supervision.

Responsibilities include phlebotomy, injections, EKGs, vital signs, and data entry in the electronic health record. High school diploma and one year of medical office clerical experience required.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One year of clerical/billing experience in a medical office setting.
• Experience operating multi-line phone systems, fax machines, photocopiers, PCs, credit card machines, glucometers, EKG machines and other medical equipment.

Aufgaben

• Register and schedule patients, print documents including the daily schedule.
• Ensure adequate medical/office supplies in offices and exam rooms.
• Process ordering of clinical supplies per practice standards.
• Complete lab requests, referrals and health forms; maintain logs per regulations.
• Administer injections, EKGs, spirometry, phlebotomy; render treatments as directed.
