Qualifications

• Current Medical Assistant certification required.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare workers certification is required.
• Graduation from a Medical Assistant program is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with onboarding and precepting new team members and externs as assigned.
• Support teammates with patient care workload and daily clinic tasks.
• Complete prior authorizations, paperwork, and RightFax requests.
• Monitor and respond to pooled inboxes and patient messages.
• Maintain point-of-care testing logs and equipment when an MA III is not present.
• Participate in outreach activities as directed by leadership.
• Perform additional duties to support clinic operations and patient care.
