Job summary

Indiana University Health System in Bloomington, IN is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA I/II) to join the state’s largest Primary Care clinic. This full-time role handles patient intake, rooms patients, obtains vital signs, performs point-of-care testing, and supports clinic operations in a fast-paced environment.

We welcome external new graduates and IU Health MA Trainee graduates. BLS is required; high school diploma or equivalent; graduation from a Medical Assistant program will be required

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduation from Medical Assistant program required after Oct 5, 2025.
• BLS certification (AHA) required for healthcare workers.
• Knowledge of OSHA/CLIA/ADA policies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain vital signs.
• Perform point-of-care testing.
• Manage patient calls and provider message pools.
• Support direct patient care and clinic operations.
• Work collaboratively with providers and care team members.
