Job summary

Marathon Health, LLC is seeking a seasoned Medical Assistant in Olathe, KS to support a primary care physician and deliver exceptional patient care. You will perform vitals, injections, phlebotomy, immunizations, and front-desk duties, while coordinating care with the broader team.

You will work in a patient-focused environment with attention to accurate documentation, lab coordination, and timely communication of results. CPR/BLS is required at start date.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of Medical Assistant experience, preferably in primary care.
• Graduation from a formal Medical Assistant program or related program.
• National or state MA certification or registration strongly preferred; required in states where certification/registration is required.
• CPR/BLS certification required at start date.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to room and ensure exam rooms are cleaned and stocked.
• Take vitals and provide injections; assist with procedures.
• Draw blood, facilitate lab tests with contracted labs.
• Prepare and administer medications and immunizations as directed by Provider.
• Support care team in developing patient care plans and addressing gaps in care.
• Handle front desk tasks: scheduling, records requests, referrals, check-in/out.
