VIPCARE in Edmond, OK is seeking a qualified Medical Assistant to support physicians with examinations and patient care. You will manage patient records, prepare exam rooms, and perform front-desk tasks while ensuring accuracy and compassionate care.

The role requires 1 year of MA experience, completion of an MA program (RMA/CMA preferred), CPR/IV start and phlebotomy experience are pluses, with strong EMR and computer skills to maintain meticulous records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of Accredited Medical Assistant program preferred (RMA or CMA).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• IV Start Certification preferred.
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA preferred.
• Basic computer skills and EMR familiarity.

Responsabilités

• Greet and prepare patients for provider examination and document history, vitals, and records.
• Assist providers with examinations and procedures as directed.
• Maintain complete electronic medical records accurately.
• Handle front-desk operations including scheduling and triaging calls.
• Explain treatments and instructions to patients.
• Prepare patient and room for examination and manage supplies.
• Perform in-office CLIA-waived and basic lab tests.
• Draw blood and process specimens for lab testing.
• Provide patient education as directed by the provider.
• Assist onboarding and training of new team members.
