Advocate Medical Group Primary Care in Crystal Lake, IL is seeking a Medical Assistant to support the care team with clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring patient safety and confidentiality. The role requires a 40-hour workweek, Mon-Fri with 6:45am–6:30pm and one Saturday per month 7am–1pm, with potential to float to McHenry, Lakemoor and Barrington locations.

As a Medical Assistant, you will support providers, engage with patients, and help ensure a seamless, compassionate experience

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited or approved Medical Assistant program, or 2 years of verifiable full-time experience as a Medical Assistant within the last 5 years.
• Phlebotomy skills are preferred

Responsabilidades

• Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
• Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.

Educación

High School Diploma or GED

Accredited Medical Assistant program or 2 years MA experience

Phlebotomy skills (preferred)
