Advocate Health Care is seeking a part-time Medical Assistant to support the care team as a floating MA. The position covers Elk Grove Village with travel to Skokie, Lake Zurich and Downers Grove as needed to cover PTO or staffing gaps.

Typical schedule is 20 hours per week, with mileage reimbursement for travel between facilities. The MA will perform clinical and administrative tasks, assist with exams, and document in the electronic health record while upholding patient safety and

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant diploma or 2 years MA experience or certified MA with 2 years experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy skills are preferred.

Aufgaben

• Welcome patients and support their transition into care.
• Take and record vital signs, medical histories, and health screenings.
• Prepare patients for exams and assist providers during procedures.
• Administer medications and vaccines as directed.
• Perform lab-related tasks including specimen collection and point-of-care testing.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
• Partner with physicians, nurses, and teammates to deliver high-quality, coordinated care.
