Job summary

Dayton Children's is seeking a Medical Assistant for the South Campus to perform routine clinical skills, including vital signs and procedure support. You will document in EPIC, support timely provider notes, and manage patient flow and room readiness.

The role includes chaperoning and stocking rooms while handling tests and supplies per physician direction. The position requires a Medical Assistant program completion with a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED and completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• CMA/CCMA certification preferred? (from text)
• CPR certification preferred or must be obtained within 2 weeks of start date.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs, weight, and height; assist with procedures as needed.
• Document in EPIC and ensure timely completion for provider note.
• Manage patient flow, chaperone, stock rooms, and assist with tests and supplies.
• Perform duties delegated by RN, nurse practitioner, or physician.
• Coordinate with other departments to maintain timely care and customer service.
