Job summary

Dayton Children's Hospital is seeking a Medical Assistant for the Adolescent & Young Adult Medicine clinic at the Main Campus. The role blends clinical duties such as vital signs and procedure assistance with clerical tasks including EPIC documentation and encounter closing to support efficient provider care.

You will help manage patient flow, chaperone exams, stock rooms, and coordinate tests and supplies under RN, NP, or physician delegation; CPR requirements apply within two weeks of start

Qualifications

• HSD/GED required and completion of Medical Assisting program.
• CMA or CCMA certification required; CPR preferred, but must be obtained within 2 weeks of start date.
• Clerical EPIC documentation and patient flow duties.

Responsibilities

• Take vital signs, weight, height, and assist with procedures.
• Document in EPIC and ensure timely notes.
• Manage patient flow, chaperone, stock rooms.
• Coordinate tests and supplies with RN/MD and provider team.
