Terros Health is hiring a Medical Assistant for the McDowell Health Center in Phoenix, AZ. This full-time in-office role supports primary care and behavioral health services with an emphasis on compassionate patient care.

Ideal candidates have a Medical Assistant diploma/certificate, NextGen EMR experience preferred, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with patients and coordinate care across teams.

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant Diploma and/or Certificate required.
• EMR experience preferred, NextGen is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during examinations and prepare patients.
• Take medical histories and explain procedures to patients.
• Coordinate information with behavioral health and other programs.
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and handle clerical tasks.
• Maintain patient records and schedule tests or hospital admissions.
