Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Medical Assistant for our Nassau office in Fernandina Beach, FL. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with an opportunity to join a recognized faith-based, non-profit health system.

The ideal candidate will room patients, take vitals, assist providers, and maintain medical documentation, with EKG experience a plus. A sign-on bonus is available.

Qualifications

2+ years patient care experience.
Experience in physician's office.
BLS certification required.
Certified Medical Assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

Provides medical assistance to physicians.
Obtains vital signs.
Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit.
Maintains medical documentation.
Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician.
Processes prescription requests and referrals.

Baptist Health is looking to add a Medical Assistant to join our Baptist Heart Specialists - Nassau office located in Fernandina Beach, FL.

This is a Full-Time opportunity working Monday-Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM.

The ideal candidate will perform back office Medical Assistant duties, such as rooming patients, obtaining vitals, ensuring testing for and assisting the provider. EKG experience is a plus!
