Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Full-Time Medical Assistant at Baptist Primary Care – Brooklyn Family Medicine in Jacksonville, FL. The role supports back-office clinical workflow, rooming patients, and assisting providers with care. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of patient care, is team-oriented, and holds a High School Diploma or GED; BLS is required and CMA certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years patient care experience.
• Experience in a physician's office preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Certified Medical Assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain vital signs.
• Greets and chaperones patients during visits.
• Maintain medical documentation.
• Schedule care, treatment, and tests per physician.
• Process prescription requests and referrals.
