Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Medical Assistant to join Baptist Primary Care - Mandarin Pediatrics in Jacksonville, FL. This full-time position runs Monday–Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and involves back-office care, patient rooming, vitals, and documentation.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of patient care experience, office exposure, and a STEM-supported credential such as BLS or CMA. AIS transport, charting, and referrals are part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• 2+ years patient care experience.
• Experience in a physician's office.
• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Certified Medical Assistant preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides medical assistance to physicians.
• Obtains vital signs.
• Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit.
• Maintains medical documentation.
• Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician.
• Processes prescription requests and referrals.

Baptist Health is currently seeking a Medical Assistant to join our Baptist Primary Care - Mandarin Pediatrics office located on Old St. Augustine Road in Jacksonville, FL

This is a Full-Time opportunity working Monday-Friday from 8:00A-5:00P.

The ideal candidate will perform back office Medical Assistant duties, such as rooming patients, obtaining vitals, and assisting the provider.
