Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have completed a Medical Assistant program or comparable healthcare education program with clinical training.
• Fewer than six months MA experience require at least 160 hours of externship or practicum.
• Preferred: High school diploma or GED; prior MA experience; knowledge of Medical Terminology.

Responsibilities

• Rooms patients, manages patient flow and collects essential information.
• Performs injections and assists with procedures as delegated by Provider/RN.
• Maintains a safe environment, follows policies, and supports with handle patient care activities.
