UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Medical Assistant at our Fountain Hills, AZ location to support providers with back-office tasks including injections, phlebotomy, and diagnostic testing. You will ensure quality surveys and patient care while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced clinic.

Preferred candidates have 1+ year ambulatory care experience, EMR/EHR proficiency, bilingual Spanish, and CPR/BLS certification. Sign-on bonus of $4,000 and benefits are provided.

The Medical Assistant performs a variety of back office activities to assist providers in conducting quality clinics, including administering injections, diagnostic testing, phlebotomy, quality surveys and various other procedures. Delivers exceptional customer service and maintains established quality control standards.

Required Qualifications:

• High school graduate or GED
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program, or Military Medic program
• Current CPR and / or BLS certification or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in an ambulatory care setting
• Experience with multiple EMR/EHR Systems such as EPIC, E-Clinical Works (ECW), Allscripts Practice Management (APM), NextGen, Cerner
• Bilingual - Spanish
