UnitedHealth Group's Fountain Hills location is hiring a Medical Assistant to support providers in a busy clinic, performing injections, phlebotomy, diagnostic testing, and quality surveys. You will deliver excellent patient service while following established quality standards.

The role offers a $4,000 sign-on bonus for external candidates, overtime eligibility, annual bonus potential, PTO and holidays, plus career development and training opportunities. Hourly pay ranges from $16 to $29.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program, or Military Medic program.
• Current CPR and / or BLS certification or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of hire.

The Medical Assistant performs a variety of back office activities to assist providers in conducting quality clinics, including administering injections, diagnostic testing, phlebotomy, quality surveys and various other procedures. Delivers exceptional customer service and maintains established quality control standards.

Required Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in an ambulatory care setting
• Experience with multiple EMR/EHR Systems such as EPIC, E-Clinical Works (ECW), Allscripts Practice Management (APM), NextGen, Cerner
• Bilingual - Spanish
