Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent required.
• One year of clinical experience OR graduate of Medical Assistant program required.
• Two years of experience in similar healthcare setting preferred.
• BLS/CPR current or within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination and escort to exam room.
• Conduct pre-visit planning by updating patient records and recent results.
• Take vital signs and update medication list and allergies.
• Coordinate with providers and care team on tests, visits and discharge needs.
• Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and proper disposal of waste.
