Job summary

Ascension Medical Group in Wichita, KS seeks a full-time healthcare professional in the Podiatry specialty to support patient care. The role involves interviewing patients, preparing treatment rooms, and assisting clinicians with treatments to improve patient outcomes.

Minimum requirements include a BLS certification within 1 month of hire and a preference for Certified Medical Assistants. Education may be substituted by related experience as noted.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire date required; American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Certified Medical Assistant is preferred but not required.
• Professional licensure/certification can substitute for education or experience where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients and capture vital signs to provide the clinical team with key data for diagnosis.
• Prepare treatment rooms to ensure each patient enters a clean, organized, and professional space.
• Assist physicians and nurses with real-time treatments to support positive patient outcomes.
• Document patient journeys and manage essential records with precision and confidentiality for seamless care.
• Proactively manage medical supplies and administrative tasks to keep the clinic running smoothly.

• Maintain seamless continuity of care by documenting patient journeys and managing essential records with precision and confidentiality.
• Optimize clinic flow by proactively managing medical supplies and administrative tasks, ensuring the team has the resources necessary to focus on patient health.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association OR American Red Cross accepted.
• Certified Medical Assistant preferred.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
