Job summary

LifeBridge Health, in partnership with Potomac Partners, is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to support ambulatory care clinics. You will help ensure smooth patient flow, prepare exam rooms, take histories and vital signs, and assist physicians in delivering high-quality care.

• Current American Heart Association (AHA) CPR certification required for designated practices.
• Preferred qualifications: Previous Medical Assistant experience in an ambulatory or physician practice setting.

Responsibilities

• Support providers before, during, and after patient examinations and procedures.
• Prepare examination and treatment rooms by ensuring equipment, instruments, and supplies are available and organized.
• Obtain and document patient histories, chief complaints, and other pertinent information.
• Perform routine clinical duties including measuring vital signs, height, weight, blood pressure, specimen collection, and administering injections as appropriate.
• Assist in maintaining efficient patient flow while providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Perform administrative responsibilities including answering phones, scheduling appointments, maintaining provider calendars, ordering supplies, and completing other tasks as assigned.
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to promote patient safety and quality care.

Position Summary

In this role, you will support providers by ensuring efficient patient flow and delivering high-quality clinical and administrative support. The Medical Assistant plays a vital role in creating a positive patient experience while promoting quality, safety, and operational excellence.

Education
