Job summary

LifeBridge Health, in collaboration with Suburban Physicians in the Baltimore area, is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to support ambulatory care teams. The role emphasizes efficient patient flow, caring for patients, and providing high-quality clinical and administrative support.

The position requires a High School diploma or GED, CMA certification for designated practices, and current CPR certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) required for designated practices.
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) CPR certification required for designated practices.

Responsibilities

• Support providers before, during, and after patient examinations and procedures.
• Prepare examination and treatment rooms by ensuring all equipment, instruments, and supplies are available and properly organized.
• Obtain and document patient histories, chief complaints, and other pertinent information.
• Perform routine clinical duties, including measuring and recording vital signs, height, weight, blood pressure, specimen collection, and administering injections as appropriate.
• Assist in maintaining efficient patient flow while providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Perform administrative responsibilities including answering phones, scheduling appointments, maintaining provider calendars, ordering clinical supplies, and completing other office duties as assigned.
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to promote patient safety and quality care.

Position Summary
