LifeBridge Health in Laurel, MD is seeking a Medical Assistant to support providers and maintain efficient patient flow while upholding high standards of care. The role includes measuring and recording vital signs, collecting specimens, and administering injections.

Responsibilities also encompass answering phones, maintaining physician schedules, ordering supplies, and performing other administrative duties as assigned. Certification as MA and CPR are preferred where applicable.

Formación

• Less than one year of clinical experience required.
• Preferred: High School / GED.
• Certified Medical Assistant (MA) and CPR certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Measure and record vital signs during patient visits.
• Collect specimens and administer injections as directed.
• Assist providers with patient flow and general care.
• Answer phones, maintain physician schedules, and order supplies.
• Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.

Summary

Assists providers with efficient patient flow while maintaining high standards of care, perform a variety of general patient care responsibilities to include, but not limited to: measuring/recording vital signs, collecting specimens and administering injections. Administrative tasks include answering phones, maintaining physician schedules, ordering supplies, and performing other administrative duties as assigned.

Pay Range

$16.00 to $27.29 Based On Experience
