Job summary

SynergenX | Low T Center | HerKare is hiring a Medical Assistant in Sugarland, Texas. The role supports providers, handles patient check-ins, takes vital signs, performs venipuncture and injections, and assists with lab testing and specimen handling. Flexible travel between clinics is required.

No MA certification is required initially; two weeks of paid hands-on training will be provided to learn clinic processes and workflows.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three months of relevant medical experience or 180 externship hours.
• MA or Phlebotomy certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and document manual vital signs.
• Perform venipuncture and administer injections as directed by providers.
• Complete laboratory testing, specimen preparation, and documentation.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and quality controls.
• Complete inventory counts and assist with supplies.
• Support front desk operations as needed.
• Follow HIPAA, safety standards, and clinic policies.
• Travel between assigned clinics to provide coverage.
