Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; BLS completed or in progress.
• Experience venipuncture and basic phlebotomy in a clinic setting preferred.
• Knowledge of QA/QC procedures and regulatory compliance essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with procedures in the office and prepare exam rooms.
• Draw blood, collect specimens, and prepare slides as needed.
• Perform QA/QC checks, log results, and maintain equipment records.
• Schedule outside testing and coordinate referrals or admissions when ordered.
• Document all testing and patient data in the EMR accurately.
• Maintain inventory and place supply orders; troubleshoot equipment as needed.
