Job summary

CenterLight Health System is seeking a Medical Assistant to perform routine clinical tasks under the direction of the Medical Practice Manager, including venipuncture, finger sticks, EKGs, and specimen handling.

You will document vitals in the EMR, draw and process lab specimens, schedule labs, stock exam rooms, assist providers, and ensure patient privacy and safety in a fast-paced Pace Center.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with medical technician training.
• Experience: at least 1 year of venipuncture, preferably with elderly population.
• Must be bilingual Bengali and able to translate as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine medical assistant functions according to policy and best practice.
• Draw blood and collect specimens; prepare for transport and maintain specimens.
• Order and track laboratory tests; document results and inform physicians.
• Maintain lab inventory and stock examination rooms with supplies.
• Provide EKGs and routine tests; ensure patient confidentiality and safety.
