Job summary

SynergenX in Houston is seeking qualified Medical Assistants to join our team. You will work with leaders in hormone replacement therapy and weight management, performing vitals, blood draws, injections, and in-house lab duties while ensuring a positive patient experience.

Two weeks paid training, great benefits, and no certification required. Flexibility with late hours, some weekends, friendly attitude, and opportunities to grow with a fast-growing practice.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant or Phlebotomy Certification preferred.
• Minimum 3 months relevant medical experience or 180 extern hours.
• Ability to perform venipuncture and IM/SC injections preferred.
• Background check required.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual vitals.
• Perform routine blood draws.
• Administer intramuscular and subcutaneous injections per provider's request.
• Maintain lab equipment and document all lab results.
• Run labs in-house or prep them for external labs with proper orders.
• Weekly inventory, ordering and communication.
• Assist front desk duties when needed.
• Demonstrate strong work ethic.
