Family Practice of Conyers is seeking a phenomenal medical assistant to support physicians, nurses, and staff with administrative and clinical duties while delivering excellent patient service.

You will greet patients, manage vitals, assist in exam rooms, handle lab work, schedule, and maintain charts in Athena EMR, with a full-time schedule at $18+ per hour.

This position emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and teamwork in a busy practice serving the Conyers community.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in healthcare preferred.
• Experience with Athena EMR system is required.
• Ability to follow safety and privacy regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients and verify histories.
• Take and document vitals (weight, BP, pulse, temp).
• Assist in exam rooms and with physician/NP as needed.
• Prepare rooms, collect labs, and perform basic tests.
• Process referrals and health forms; maintain charts and confidentiality.
