Qualifications

  • High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
  • BLS Provider (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
  • ASCP-BOC Phlebotomy credentialed.
  • Phlebotomy Tech credentialed from ASCP-BOC.
  • Medical Laboratory Assistant credentialed from ASCP-BOC.
  • Medical Laboratory Assistant credentialed from AMT.
  • ASPT credentialed from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • Preferred Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Certification specializing in Phlebotomy credentialed from the American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification (ASCP-BOC).
  • Phlebotomy Tech.
  • Medical Laboratory Assistant credentialed from the American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification (ASCP-BOC).
  • Medical Laboratory Assistant credentialed from the American Medical Technologists (AMT).
  • Tech credentialed from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians. All issuing authorities accepted.

Education:
