Position Overview

The Medical Assistant Float position offers an excellent opportunity for those who enjoy variety and working as part of a dynamic team. You will support multiple clinics, including Pediatric Outreach, Specialty, Urgent Care, and Primary Care across Pierce, King, and Thurston Counties.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical duties within the scope of practice of a CMA, managing ambulatory patients safely.
• Work under the supervision of a licensed healthcare practitioner as part of the clinical team.
• Utilize standards, resources, and data to inform patient care.
• Assist with front office duties, demonstrating professionalism, discretion, and diplomacy.

Minimum Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant in Washington State.
• Previous front desk experience preferred.
• Valid Washington driver’s license and a safe driving record.

Additional Information

Position details include part-time FTE (0.01), day shift, and on-call schedule. The pay range is $24.58 - $35.36 per hour, influenced by experience and credentials.
