Position Summary

The Medical Assistant Float position at MultiCare will allow you to engage with patient customers while working closely with your clinical team to provide excellent customer service and patient care. As a float pool assistant, you will travel between locations, offering a regular variety of locations and staff to work with.

Responsibilities

1. You will perform safe clinical skills within the scope of practice of the CMA, including clinical duties in the management of ambulatory patients.
2. You will be an integral part of the team working under the direction of a licensed healthcare practitioner.
3. You will utilize your knowledge towards the integration of available standards, resources, and data.
4. You will assist with front office duties as needed, applying your discretion, good judgment, and diplomacy towards excellent office and patient care management.

Requirements

1. Completion of an accredited program for Medical Assistants.
2. Successful completion of Medical Assistant program and certification with the State of Washington is required.
3. Previous Front Desk experience is preferred.
4. Current Washington state driver's license and proof of a safe driving record (meeting established MultiCare Standards) obtained by a motor vehicle report from the appropriate state.
