Locations: This position supports our Mary Bridge Pediatric Outreach, Specialty, Urgent Care, and Primary Care Clinics in Pierce, King, and Thurston Counties.

Position Summary

The Medical Assistant Float is ideal for those wanting to be an integral part of a provider’s team. If you enjoy variety, have excellent customer service skills, and demonstrate professionalism, this role is for you.

This position involves engaging with patients, working closely with clinical teams to deliver excellent patient care, and traveling between locations to work with different staff and teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe clinical skills within the scope of practice of the CMA, including managing ambulatory patients
• Work under the direction of a licensed healthcare practitioner
• Utilize standards, resources, and data to support care
• Assist with front office duties, applying discretion, good judgment, and diplomacy

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program
• Certification as a Medical Assistant in Washington State
• Previous front desk experience preferred
• Valid Washington driver’s license and proof of a safe driving record
