Job summary

Endeavor Health seeks a Medical Assistant/Patient Support Assistant at the Lakeview-Chicago Clinic to support front desk operations, take vitals, and assist physicians in a fast-paced ambulatory setting. The role includes answering phones, scheduling, registrations, and basic clinical tasks.

CPR certification is required; CMA/MA certification is preferred but not mandatory. Prior medical office experience is valued, with on-the-job training provided for newcomers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assisting program preferred.
• CPR certification through American Heart Association required.
• One year of work experience in a medical office preferred; on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and schedule appointments.
• Collect co-payments and complete patient registration.
• Check in/out patients and verify insurances.
• Greet patients and escort to exam room; document vitals.
• Provide front office support and basic vitals; phlebotomy/injections may be required.
