Endeavor Health is seeking a Medical Assistant/Patient Support Assistant (MA/PSA) for Pediatrics on a per diem basis in Deerfield, IL. Responsibilities include answering phones, scheduling, registrations, check-in/out, insurance verification, and assisting physicians with front-office tasks.

Training is provided if you lack prior medical assistant experience. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, CPR certification, and 1 year of relevant experience; MA certification is

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program is preferred, but not required.
• CPR certification through the American Heart Association is required.
• Medical Assistant Certification (AMT or AAMA) is preferred, but not required.

Responsabilités

• Answer phones.
• Schedule appointments.
• Collect co-payments.
• Complete patient registration.
• Provide front office support to the physician practice.
• Check in and check out patients.
• Verify insurances.
• Greet patients and escort them to exam room.
• Document vital signs, allergies, medications and reason for office visit.
