Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Medical Assistant/Patient Support Assistant in Lincolnshire, IL. The role is full‑time with rotating hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and weekends on a rotating basis. You will handle phone calls, scheduling, registrations, and front office tasks for a physician practice.

Responsibilities include intake, vitals, insurance verification, and basic clinical duties such as phlebotomy and injections as needed. CPR is required and MA certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assisting program preferred.
• CPR certification through the American Heart Association required.
• Two or more years in a medical office is advantageous; on‑the‑job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones.
• Schedule appointments.
• Collect co-payments.
• Complete patient registration.
• Provide front office support to the physician practice.
• Check in and check out patients.
• Verify insurances.
• Greet patients and escort to exam room.
• Document vitals, allergies, medications, and reason for visit.
• Perform basic vitals (BP, height, weight).
• Phlebotomy and injections may be required.

Hourly Pay Range: $20.29 - $29.42 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights

• Position: Medical Assistant/Patient Support Assistant
• Location: Lincolnshire, IL
• Full Time/Part Time: Full Time (40 hours per week)
• Hours: Monday to Friday rotating hours between 7:00AM-7:00PM, with rotating weekends Saturday/Sundays various hours from 7:30AM-5PM
• Required Travel: This role includes some travel to other locations and requires flexible hours to meet operational needs.

What you will need

• Education : High school diploma or equivalent work experience is required. Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program is preferred, but not required.
• Certification : CPR certification through the American Heart Association required; Medical Assistant Certification (AMT, AAMA, ARMA, CCMA, CMA, MAC, AMCA) is preferred, but not required.
• Experience : One year of work experience required, previous experience working in a medical office (or related field) is preferred. On the job training is provided for those who do not have previous medical assistant training or experience.
