Job summary

Bookmark Medical is seeking a Medical Assistant/Patient Services Specialist to support a float role across multiple Mesa-area locations, delivering patient-centered care with warmth and professionalism.

You will front-dose the front desk, take vitals, update records, and assist providers with procedures while managing scheduling, communications, referrals, verifications, and co-pays. Travel to listed locations is required.

What you’ll do

You’ll play a key role in supporting both patients and providers by:

• Front Office/ Patient Services Specialist
• Greeting patients and checking them in with warmth and professionalism
• Managing calls, messages, scheduling, referrals, follow ups, and co pays
• Assisting with insurance verifications and prior authorizations
• Updating patient information and supporting clear communication between patients and providers

Clinical/ Medical Assistant Responsibilities

• Rooming patients and preparing them for their visit
• Taking vitals, updating medical histories, and documenting in the HER
• Assisting providers with procedures and administering vaccines
• Performing point -of-car testing
• Maintaining clean, stocked exam rooms and following all safety protocols

What you bring

• Accredited MA training or equivalent experience
• MA certification (or willingness to obtain, we will reimburse for your certification)
• 1+ year of healthcare experience preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills
• Comfort working in a fast paced, patient centered environment
