Job summary

Methodist Medical Group in North Texas seeks a Medical Assistant/Patient Representative to support physicians by delivering routine clinical care and patient education. You will perform standard procedures, document in health records, and handle tasks within your certification scope.

Requirements include a high school diploma, graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program, National/Registered Medical Assistant Certification, BLS certification, and a minimum of 2 years’ experience

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program (required).
National/Registered Medical Assistant Certification (required).
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, American Heart Association (required).
Minimum 2 years of professional Medical Assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

The Medical Assistant/Patient Representative will be able to provide healthcare services to individuals as instructed by the Physician or APP. The Medical Assistant will perform routine clinical procedures, participate in patient education, enter appropriate documentation into patients’ health records, and perform all other duties as assigned within the scope of their certification.
