Job summary

Dallas Center United Methodist seeks a Medical Assistant/Patient Representative to provide healthcare services under Physician/APP supervision. You will perform routine clinical procedures, educate patients, and document in health records within your certification scope.

The role requires graduation from an accredited MA program, a National/Registered MA certification, and BLS. High school diploma is required; minimum 2 years of MA experience preferred.

Qualifications

High School Diploma required.
Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program required.
National/Registered Medical Assistant Certification required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.

Responsibilities

Provide healthcare services to patients under the instruction of the Physician/APP.

Job Summary The Medical Assistant/Patient Representative will be able to provide healthcare services to individuals as instructed by the Physician or APP. The Medical Assistant will perform routine clinical procedures, participate in patient education, enter appropriate documentation into patients’ health records, and perform all other duties as assigned within the scope of their certification.
