Job summary

Methodist Medical Group in North Texas seeks a Medical Assistant/Patient Representative to provide healthcare services under physician or APP instruction. You will perform routine clinical procedures, educate patients, and document care in health records, while performing duties within your certification.

The role requires a High School Diploma, completion of an accredited MA program, and National/Registered MA certification, plus BLS. 2 years MA experience is preferred.

Qualifications

High School Diploma.
Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
National/Registered Medical Assistant Certification.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, American Heart Association.
Minimum 2 years of professional Medical Assistant experience in a practice, preferred.

Responsibilities

To provide healthcare services to patients under the instruction of the Physician or APPs.
Perform routine clinical procedures, participate in patient education, enter documentation into patients’ health records, and perform other duties within the scope of certification.
Support inclement weather reporting as required.

Job Summary:

The Medical Assistant/Patient Representative will be able to provide healthcare services to individuals as instructed by the Physician or APP. The Medical Assistant will perform routine clinical procedures, participate in patient education, enter appropriate documentation into patients’ health records, and perform all other duties as assigned within the scope of their certification.
