Central Ohio Primary Care Physicians,Inc is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide both administrative and clinical support in a Federally qualified community primary care setting. The role is full-time, with a Monday-Friday 7:45am-4:45pm schedule in Chillicothe, OH.

The MA will assist the clinical team, perform injections and phlebotomy, collect specimens, document in the EHR, and ensure patient care is coordinated and efficient while protecting patient confidentiality under HIPAA.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of Medical Assistant program required.
• MA certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Work closely with the clinical care team to deliver the best care for patients.
• Set up medical equipment, perform injections, and collect specimens.
• Interview patients, obtain medical history, and measure vital signs.
• Document tests and results in the EHR; communicate results to patients as directed.
• Assist with referrals, prior authorizations, and other paperwork as needed.
• Maintain a clean, confidential, HIPAA-compliant work environment.
